Record-Breaking September at POZnań Airport
More than 464,000 passengers used Poznań Airport in September. Poznań–Ławica Airport continues its upward trend and is moving closer to achieving a record-breaking annual result.
Stable Growth in Passenger Traffic
In September 2025, Poznań–Ławica Airport served 464,044 travellers — yet another month of clear growth in passenger numbers. Low-cost carriers had the largest share in overall traffic, carrying more than 223,000 passengers, while legacy airlines handled over 56,000 travellers — an increase of 15% compared with the same period last year.
Charter Flights Still on the Rise
The charter segment is also developing dynamically, reaching 184,000 passengers — a year-on-year increase of 7%. Holiday flights from Poznań continue to attract strong interest, confirming Ławica’s solid position as the preferred airport for travellers from across the Greater Poland region.
Over 3 Million Passengers Since the Start of the Year
From January through September 2025, Poznań Airport handled over 3.29 million passengers, representing a 14% increase compared with 2024. The highest growth was recorded by low-cost carriers (+19%) and legacy airlines (+16%), demonstrating rising demand for both leisure and business travel from Poznań.
Forecasts indicate that 2025 is set to conclude with a record result — more than 4 million passengers.
Poznań Strengthens Its Position on Poland’s Aviation Map
We continue to grow and further strengthen Poznań’s position on Poland’s aviation map. The September figures prove that our airport is an attractive departure point not only for residents of Greater Poland, but also increasingly for transit passengers and tourists from other regions says Grzegorz Bykowski, CEO of Poznań–Ławica Airport.
New Travel Opportunities
The end of the year promises to be equally exciting. On 27 October, Ryanair will resume direct flights from Poznań to Amman, giving passengers the opportunity to visit Petra and the Wadi Rum desert.
In December, the first charter flights to Bangkok and to Phu Quoc Island in Vietnam will launch, allowing Poznań travellers to explore Asia with no need for transfers.
Poznań Airport is gaining strength — more destinations, more passengers, and a world of possibilities ever closer!
