Modern CT scanners allow for detailed inspection of baggage contents, eliminating the need to remove bottles or cosmetics during security checks. The change is currently limited to a portion of the baggage screening lines.

– “Every day, we strive to become an increasingly passenger-friendly airport, and we are now taking another step in this direction. Allowing the transport of liquids in containers larger than 100 milliliters is currently an exception in European aviation regulations. We are very pleased to be among the leaders of this change,” says Grzegorz Bykowski, President of the Poznań-Ławica Airport Management Board.
– “I would like to thank my team and the Civil Aviation Authority for the efficient and rapid implementation of this change, which is so beneficial to our passengers,” he adds.

However, the rules regarding the transport of hazardous substances remain unchanged – flammable liquids or other safety hazards are still prohibited in carry-on luggage. It is also worth remembering that other airports may have different liquid transport limits.
