As part of the extensive investment, new CT-based hand luggage screening equipment and innovative baggage lines are already operational, along with modernized waiting rooms and restrooms. The terminal space, both on the public and restricted areas, is also benefiting from modern shops and restaurants, which are already welcoming travelers with a completely new standard of service and aesthetics, and, of course, a wide range of products.

In addition to the spectacular changes that attract attention, the airport team is also systematically implementing smaller, but no less significant, improvements that directly translate into passenger comfort and convenience.

One such step is changing the appearance of the departure and arrival information boards. The new design – white letters on a black background – significantly improves the legibility of the information presented. This makes messages easier to read regardless of lighting conditions, including in full sunlight, and allows passengers to easily follow the flight schedule from a distance. Therefore, we have now presented a more readable “black and white” schedule.

These changes are part of Ławica Airport’s long-term strategy, the aim of which is to create a modern, user-friendly, and intuitive space that meets the needs of today’s travelers. The next stages of modernization are coming soon – the airport has announced further improvements, which will be announced on an ongoing basis.
