Barcelona-Girona
The city's origins date back to 79 BC, when Rome was at war with Sertorius. Today, in the city, and especially in the old town, you can see traces of various stages of Girona's history. Like pages from a chronicle, individual buildings tell the history of the city. The Arab baths remember the times of the Moors in Catalonia. The Jewish quarter is a record of the presence of the Jewish community engaged in trade in the city. Monumental churches, in turn, are the result of Christian influence.

Houses on the Onyar River
the undisputed symbol of the city. The colorful facades seem to be suspended in the air above the river.

Cathedral of Our Lady in Girona
the construction of this sacred building lasted several centuries, starting from the 11th century and ending in the 18th century. For this reason, the temple combines elements of the Romanesque, Gothic and Baroque styles.
