Information on air traffic bans
In accordance with the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of 15 September 2020 on air traffic bans, France, Montenegro and Spain are included in the list of countries subject to a ban on civil flights.
The good news for our passengers is the removal of Malta from the above list – passengers will again be able to fly from Poznań to Malta.
As is clear from the wording of the Regulation, the ban does not apply to international flights chartered before the date of entry into force of the Regulation on behalf of the tour operator or an entity acting on its behalf.
Furthermore, the ban does not apply to flights from airports located in the territory of the countries that have notified the Republic of Poland of the introduction of measures guaranteeing that only passengers with negative results of SARS-CoV-2 diagnostic tests will be allowed on board an aircraft.
This Regulation will enter into force on 16 September 2020 and expire on 29 September.
