5 Years of KLM Flights from Poznań
POZnań Airport and KLM are celebrating the fifth anniversary of the Amsterdam route – today passengers can already enjoy two daily flights to the global Schiphol hub.
Five Years of Shared History
On 27 October 2025, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and POZnań Airport mark the fifth anniversary of regular flights between Poznań and Amsterdam. The route was inaugurated on 25 October 2020 – during the challenging pandemic period – but despite the difficulties, the airline consistently expanded its offer and now operates two daily services to one of the world’s largest transfer airports: Amsterdam Schiphol.
Anniversary Celebrations for Passengers
To mark the occasion, KLM passengers travelling from Poznań today can enjoy special surprises prepared jointly with the airport. Additionally, members of the Flying Blue loyalty programme will receive a special anniversary bonus – five times the miles for travel on the Poznań–Amsterdam–Poznań route.
Dynamic Growth of the Route
Since its launch, the number of passengers has been steadily increasing. Initially, KLM offered five, and later seven weekly flights. As of March 2025, this number has doubled to 14 weekly services, enabling flexible travel planning for both business and leisure trips.
Flights are operated by modern Embraer E175 aircraft, offering 88 seats in two classes – Economy and Business. During the approximately 100-minute journey, passengers can enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks, and carry-on baggage is included in the ticket price.

KLM Strengthens Its Position in Poland
KLM now operates in five Polish cities – Poznań, Warsaw, Kraków, Gdańsk and Wrocław – offering a total of more than 110 weekly flights to Amsterdam. From this hub, passengers can transfer to 161 destinations worldwide.
The dynamic development of connections, high punctuality and quality of service have been recognised within the industry – in 2024, KLM received the title of Best Short-Haul Airline in Poland and Central Europe (Ceesar Awards) and the World Class Award from APEX for the highest safety standards and sustainability achievements.
