Purchase of airport rescue and firefighting vehicles
The Airport Rescue and Firefighting Service ensures fire safety using specialist vehicles to carry out rescue and firefighting operations at the airport.
Their tasks include extinguishing fires in aircraft, buildings, equipment and burning aviation fuel, as well as enabling the evacuation of passengers or securing refueling processes or emergency landings of aircraft. We make sure that the equipment used at Poznań Airport serves to ensure the safety of passengers and airport employees to the fullest extent possible, which is why – thanks to support from the European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate, Environment 2021-2027 Programme – we plan to purchase three new fire trucks.
