Increased security control capabilities
The security control zone is a special place at the airport – it requires efficient and professional service to maintain safety standards while minimizing passenger discomfort.
Poznań-Ławica Airport has focused on increasing the standard of service, comfort and safety of passengers during security checks. Thanks to support from the European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate, Environment 2021-2027 Programme, specialist equipment will be purchased, thanks to which the security check of passengers and hand luggage will be faster, more efficient and less invasive.
The project includes the phased purchase and delivery of the following equipment:
✈︎ 6 scanners for security control in the CB3 standard
✈︎ 6 lines for hand luggage control in the III standard
✈︎ 6 devices for explosive trace detection (ETD)
✈︎ 3 body scanner devices
✈︎ 6 Walk Through Metal Detector (WTMD) gates
✈︎ 6 detectors for footwear control (SOMD)
