• Marienplatz

The main square of the city with a golden statue of Mary standing in the middle, next to which is the city hall. You can take the elevator to the tower of this impressive building and for a small fee enter the observation deck, from which there is a beautiful view of the city panorama.

• English Garden

The largest city centre park in Europe. Around the Chinese Tower there is an artificial hill with a classicist dome on Greek columns, which is a popular viewpoint of the city centre. Other natural objects include the Munich park at Nymphenburg Palace, with numerous water channels and pavilions hidden in the greenery, and Hofgarten – a court garden with beautiful arcades.

• Viktualienmarkt

A trade fair full of seafood, French cheeses, Greek olives, and wurst stands. Next to it is a beer garden with tables, where you can taste local and foreign delicacies in a pleasant environment.

• BMW Museum

The multimedia equipment of the museum’s designer interiors is a great background for presenting the history of the Bavarian corporation. The exhibitions include historical models as well as futuristic ideas of the brand’s car designers, which have not yet been implemented.

Explore Munich on two wheels! The city is full of long paths that you can easily cycle along. Pedestrians and drivers, used to the frequent presence of cyclists on the roads, are very positive towards cyclists. This fact also makes cycling in Munich more comfortable.

Munich Franz Josef Strauss Airport (IATA code: MUC, ICAO: EDDM) is the second largest airport in Germany (after Frankfurt). It is located about 28 km from the city center. It takes about 35 minutes to get to the airport via the S1 and S8 suburban train lines.
